Daffodil 0
Hello all Just joined this site! Having been skiing for the last 14 years, it's mainly been in Europe and America. So this year I've decided to push to boat out and sample Japan! A little bit apprehensive but hey, let's give it a go! Can anyone tell me the best and economical way to travel from Tokyo to Hakuba? Amos in Utsunomia 0
Hi daffodil. There are a good few places to start with "info on Japan" and general stuff. http://www.snowjapanforums.com/ubbthreads.php/search.html http://www.snowjapan.com/e/start-here.html
stemik 14
from Tokyo airport or from Tokyo city? Most economical or most convinient?

cheeseman 1
Skyliner train > Ueno Keisei Ueno Station > Nagano Station (Nagano Shinkansen) Nagano Station > Hakuba Unfortunately, not much cheese is available on said journey, so take your own!
stemik 14
or from Shinjuku - Asama express direct to Hakuba Station
RobBright 35
Or the bus from Shinjuku is a cheap way to go if you don't mind a longer journey and drops you off at the bottom of the entrance to Hakuba Goryu.
