Ewok 2 1 Posted July 18, 2008 Share Posted July 18, 2008 my father bought toyota avensis wagon for my ma this january and he'll be getting her mitsubishi imiev (an electric car) when it is out. avensis wagon is simply too big for my ma's shopping purpose and assuming the cost of petro increase in the near future a small electric car will be perfect for her. to me, avensis 4wd is quite nice, not so sure how wallet-friendly they are though.. my sister got prius last year and she's very happy now because she doesn't have to visit jomo that often =) Link to post Share on other sites

While it will be great if they sell, you have to wonder how many people who buy small cars can afford them. Assuming they have their own parking spot with 200V juice, that is. It'll be interesting to see how they tax electric cars because they won't pay any fuel duty (road tax) on the electricity they use. They're like a diesel running on toyu.
