muikabochi 208
This morning the sun was out and so I thought I'd make the 5 minute trek to the Minami resort. Minami is literally 5 minutes drive from where I live, so it's my local.... though I don't go there often. It is good for a few hours when the snow conditions are good. Not busy at all. It's one of those resorts where the lifties are all guys in their 60's and 70's wearing the worn out resort baseball caps from 20 years ago and wiping the lifts before you get on them with one of those old broom/brushes things (even if there is no snow and it's not wet). SamuiKitsune 0
Thanks for sharing. It seems to me all the resorts have chair police armed with an old broom.

cheeseman 1
Thank you for all your reports muikabochi. I think you should mention in these reports if the resorts cater to Cheesefans at all? There are a lot out there, and are always looking for places that know the people want cheese.
sanjo 2
You should take some cheese up on the slopes and take cheese/snow shots cheeseman.

muikabochi 208
If you are coming to MY town, I would recommend Maiko, Ishiuchi Maruyama or Joetsu Kokusai more than Minami. See my reports on here and .tv to see them. The best thing about Minami is the often lack of people. It's quite small though and actually I get a bit bored after a couple of hours riding that top (slow) pair lift.
