Tubby Beaver 209
What colour of lens is best for the various light conditions that mostly happen while on mountain? I notice that there are many different colours that all seem to be for different light conditions
9015peter 0
I use hi-intensity yellow. Great for low light
samurai 0
platinum/mirrors for sun. High Intensity persimons, roses and yellows for flat light. Clear for night. If you only want one lens (because you are willing to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars a year for riding, yet can't justify more than one pair of goggles) then just get a persimmon. (orange) And shut up when your only goggle fogs up when it's storming.
SamuiKitsune 0
I am wearing the Smith Phenom Gold Sensor Mirror. It works all through the day and even good on night riding. Only potential problem area is if you have light color eyes and it is a bright sunny day - the sun can be a little harsh.

Stuntcok 0
As a result of being friends with he manager of the Smith team I have almost every lens colour they have ever made for Prodigy goggles (and about 5 frames). In Japan, where there is little above the tree line and it snows so much I almost never use anything but the low light sensor lenses (the bluish ones)
Kumapix 0
my gold half mirrored lenses on my anon figments helped me snake Stuntcok and his bluish lenses in the trees

2pints-mate 0
Er, no thanks. It's a good point though. If you're going to discuss them at length while not showing us, why not do it in PMs or something rather than do it in front of everyone?
rach 1
I don't really like yellow, but lots of people say they are best. I have light blue.
