Niseko to Rusutsu by bus

Can anybody tell me what the approx return cost is by bus from Niseko to Rusutsu per adult and child aged 12 yrs please? Thanx in advance

Hi Banno you can get a Donan bus to and from Rusutsu from Niseko. The cost is JPY1,000 each way. You will need to pre book seats though to ensure you get a space.

Bano are you coming through a tour agent or doing it all yourself? If you are going through an agent get them to organise it for you. To do it yourself would probably require some Japanese skills, I'll check. Ideally you would want to do before you arrive to ensure a space on the bus.

Wait for Go Native to confirm, but you should be able to get your Niseko>Rusutsu reservation and ticket at the Hirafu bus terminal. Coming back, you can get the Rusutsu>Niseko ticket at the Concierge desk in the main lobby at Rusutsu at the bottom of the escalator. Probably a good idea to get the Rusutsu-bound ticket a few days in advance if possible (like if you're at the bus terminal when you arrive in Niseko). I think they can book the round trip there too, then you'll have your return ticket and not have to worry about it when you're having fun in the snow in Rusutsu.

 

I'm sure fuddling through the process even with the language barrier will not be impossible... might even end up being "fun"!
