BettyBoo! 0
Losing moguls sounds like it might be a good thing to me.
thursday 1
I hope they will not remove the moguls. Some people like those and they can ride it if they wanted to. They have a choice. Personally I don't, my knees are too weak.
Yuki's Passion 1
Moiwa is flatter than Niseko IMO but might have more powder longer. Lucky for me I have great memories of all the places as only a few Aussies/foreigners outside Japan were coming at that time You could get powder/freshies all day...
gerard 6
Moguls were my bread and butter 20 years ago in Eastern Canada/US. --Not hard once you figure it out but best avoided when they're icy or hardpacked.
spook 0
as a snowboarder i really don't understand the attraction of moguls it's impressive to watch, and the jumps they pull are so gnarly when you consider the landing, but it just doesn't look like much fun to me
soubriquet 0
Moguls are borrox. That's the official position of a terminally infected skier.
gerard 6
I don't think it works well on a snowboard but on skis the rythm is really natural. I don't like the really tight moguls that the ski patrol make for official-type courses in Japan though. I like them BIG and round and natural. (Moguls, Thursday. Just moguls.) Not many mogul fans on SJ, I guess. Maybe Samurai.
mrjamie 0
I love moguls for the technical practice they give snowboarders. Icy, steep moguls. Great riding after in the powder
snowboarding-sally 0
I'd rather not think about those guys as well, and certainly don't want to give them any oxygen of publicity.
