I managed to finally get hold of my friend who works for Addidas and get a discount staff shop ticket, so I'll go check out the Salomon gear hopefully this weekend. Link to post Share on other sites

sunrise 0 Posted January 25, 2004 Share Posted January 25, 2004 Slow was inquiring about some skis and the oji-san salesguy tried to tell her that people don't ski powder snow in Japan, they only ski on piste. In other words he didn't have a clue as to how those skis would perform off-piste. And he seemed to be trying to tell her that she shouldn't be thinking of skiing powder in Japan.
