A little girl was injured in a bicycle accident and the father called an ambulance. The ambulance crew got her in the van and drove off to the hospital and the father accompanied in the ambulance. While his daughter is lying in pain and crying in the bed of the ambulance he meanwhile is leaning over taking photos up the skirt of the nurse who is helping his daughter!!!!!!! Talk about parental concern!!! He was arrested upon arrival at the hospital. Japans` increasingly seedy and lude underbelly constantly stoops to new lows! Link to post Share on other sites

There was a time not long ago when the nurse would've just smiled politely and pretended it didn't happen. Now the guy's branded as a sex offender, seen the inside of prison, out several-hundred thousand yen, and is being bitch slapped on national tv. I agree its good that there is evidence of the poliuce doing something about it but the fact that it occured is pretty sick. Japan does have more than its fair share of twisted perverts running around, and its a sub culture that encourages it. Maybe Japan has come a way in recent years but is still WAY behind other countries when it comes to this stuff....just ask any female you know if they have had the old "chikan" experiance on the train?! Yes, there are decent manga and there are loads of disgusting manga, if you belong to the former then good, if its the latter that sucks. Obviously I dont think the country is F'ed up as Ive lived here for going on 8 years now. However, the degradation of women, in a huge number of manga read by my young students, which includes showing them being raped, tied up, underwear being ripped off, groaped, is a PROBLEM, especially when its 12,13,14 year old boys reading it and thinking its acceptable and normal. Anyway, most of my stuff that has made it over there has been underground doujinshi (limited-run, self-published manga) sold at comikets and now probably residing in various otaku collections. It is generally "adult" stuff. I've been meaning to put some work up on the web, but thusfar have been derelict in doing so...
