New ipod question - 2 pods, 1 PC

I have an ipod question. (Well it involves vPod but I'm sure other pods are similar to her).

 

I have all my music on 1 computer and connect vPod to that computer to do all the syncing etc. Now, what happens if I want to use another ipod with the music on my PC. Can I do that without screwing it all up somehow?

 

I was looking at ipod lounge etc but soon got drowned in info. I was just wondering if anyone here has done this or knows.

The easiest way to use 2 ipods on one pc is to set up 2 user accounts on the pc. Not difficult to do if you are using OS Xor XP...

The easyest way is to go to itunes setup and cansel the auto update option.

from itunes, Edit > Preferences > ipod > manually manage songs and playlists

Whats the deal when you get the spanking new ipod 2 and have to "set it up"? When I did that with mine (shuffle) it seemed to confuse my pc. I had to spend hours trying to fix it all up;
