damian 0
I have a bit of a theme today... Where in Tokyo (prefer setagaya-ku) can one purchase whole chickens? Either fresh or frozen, I don't care. I want to roast one. In fact I want to roast them often. I am getting really tired of the narrow selection of seafood available. damian 0
I love BBQ's! Japan appears to be the only asian country that doesnt sell whole chickens. every other country sells them with feet and head still attached but japan doesnt seem to sell them at all. Oh, woe is me. I suppose I should not even bother trying to find a leg of lamb!
snowboard_freak 0
I'd say a leg of lamb would be incredibly expensive in Japan wouldn't it?
Sharon 0
try Daiei....not sure about Tokyo but Osaka, Kobe and other ones stock fresh and frozen chickens. Also Trends. Andersons (the large stores) have ready cooked chickens.
mogski 0
deebee you can buy whole piping hot roasted chickens at Kinokuniya supermarket in Omotesando. They are pretty good too and full of meat. Can also get the same at the Seibu dept. store in Ikebukuro. My guess would be that any Seibu would have this in their basement floor though. Don't know about the frozen ones though....
