PP I am shattered for you . I feel bad that we are all excited about our trips and your world has collapsed. We are also under a cloud as we are unsure if Mr Snowhunter will have a job come the end of February but we will have to cross that bridge when we come to it. Maybe just a week away PP. It is better than nothing and it will give you a small amount of enjoyment and take your mind off things for awhile.

Oh God thanks for the warning MP. Maybe she should link up with the rest of my group as they are all gunho boarders and skiers. I will stick with the beginners on Family Ace Run -

A carpet python - totally harmless but did nearly pee my pants when we had to move it 100mt down to the feed shed. Lucky Mr Snowhunter is a big brave Aussie bloke We are having a snake fest at the moment in the last 2 weeks we have had an eastern brown in the carport, red belly black nearly got me at the close line, then my carpet python friend and tonight a tree snake fell out the tree in front of me. Must be the weather at the moment.

I have been training for my trip and cut right down on alcohol. After having 1 beer I woke with an incredible hangover NOT HAPPY. My girlfriend informed me that I wasn't piss fit and if I didn't want to suffer hangovers when I was in Japan I needed to get piss fit. So I started 1/2 a beer a night and you know what she was right NO MORE HANGOVERS. So now I am ski fit and piss fit for my JAPOW ADVENTURE!!!

Socks / Toasty feet
foreversnow replied to PWL's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
I have some merino wool socks and am a share holder in hand and feet warmers. I stuff the things everywhere. It makes for a much more enjoyable day. Here is a little hint for everyone. DO NOT get gel coated toe nails with Diamantes on them for your ski holiday. My toe nails jammed up against the end of my boots and by day 5 the pain was unbearable. 4 weeks later I lost both my big toe nails -

Hi Emila, I ski by myself when we go to Niseko so if you are lonely I would be happy to have some company. I am not a great skier that is why I get left by myself. I am confident to go fromthe top of Hirafu and Higashyma but I don't go real fast. Aussie as well (sorry). Sound like a total nuff nuff don't I There from 10th Feb to 24th Feb. -

FOUND THE REASON FOR LIMITED BREAKFAST VISITORS. Have a close look under the leaves. She has been located down to my feed shed where he is welcome to eat all the mice and rats he can find. She was about 3 metres long.

"The shark dragged the girl under water twice before her cousin reached the scene on his surfboard and hit the shark, causing it to let go, said Senior Sergeant Jason Elmer of St Helens Police. The cousin, a man in his 20s from Queensland, pulled the teenager up on to his surfboard and paddled towards the shore. The shark followed and circled the frightened pair. At one stage they caught a wave, but the shark was in the same wave, said Senior Sergeant Elmer, who arrived on the scene shortly after the attack. "They managed to get to shore," he said. "There's a significant bite out of

Yep swimming, wake boarding and surfing is definately not top of my list at the moment. Shark Attack just off our coast they think was a white pointer. Did you read the story about in Tassie. The little girls cousin jumped in to save her and the shark was thrashing her around, throwing her in the air and then dived under with her. He paddled out and saved her and the shark kept at them the whole way in. SCARY!!!!!

A little disappointed we usually have HEAPS - Galahs (Pink and Grey), King Parrots (emerald green and bright red) and the Currowongs, Magpies, Butcher Birds, Kookaburra's but they haven't been around as much this week I guess there is plenty of food out there for them with all the summer growth.

He had been very badly beaten and still has issues with big men and the Freezer (go figure??) also if you lift your arms above your head to quickly. HE LOVES SMOOCHIES I guess he never got them before so we do have night smooch seasons . We have 2 others as well a white alsatian and a staffy.
