  2. lol my vid cam is a hdd model with the battery exposed out the back so that probably explains it really well, thanks for all your help, i'll try getting a cover or simular for it.
  3. Question that was bothering me that I wanted to ask about before I leave for Japan, what type of temperatures do the video cameras people use at the ski resorts operate in? I have a sony HD cam which dad said froze (stopped responding) in poland at about -5, and started working again when he had it back in the car, I dont know if it was just the video camera freaking out or because of the cold temperatures but the manual does say operating temp 0 to 40c, anyone else had simular problems?
  4. yep i just tried again fixing my error and that was why, thanks for picking up on it! Also hope everyone had a great new years!

  9. Hi, on the 18th Jan im flying into Nagoya and landing at about 10pm, I don’t have a epassport so im assuming its going to be an hour or two before I get out of the airport, from Nagoya airport how do you get to the train station? And how many people can be expected to be on the trains at 1amish in the morning? After our flight lands we where planning to catch trains to hakuba Nagoya Ltd.Exp. WideViewShinano to Matsumoto at 12.30am then Matsumoto JR Oito Line to Hakuba at 3.04am Reason im asking is would it just be better to carry our snowboard bags as luggage on the train or send
  10. i actually watched both picture this and optimistic this morning personally I liked picture this more then optimistic because I wasnt that fond of the talk scenes in optimistic and I just liked the video editing more in picture this, although I dont think it was an exellent 10/10 video it definitely was good.
  11. I have bad wrists so I wear wrists guards, although word on the street is if you have a hard enough impact, wrist guards transfer the pressure from your wrist to your radius/ulna and can make a pretty nasty snap
  12. The modern helmets are really nice too, very light, look good and lots of them play music now
  13. I'd be interested in comming and meeting other SJers if thats okay would be me +1
