We just had 5 days at Rusutsu finishing Wednesday 12th - did it dump down on our departure day - still had a great time.

The bus works well with ski bags. You don't want to be on a commuter train with any luggage. Carting bags onto the Metro is a pain.

Villa Hakuba is a good place to stay. Kazu's wife is a great cook. Kaz is one crazy driver given the road conditions.

I cant help, but I'm interested to see any replies for 3G mobiles. I believe they may be useable if you can configure correctly.

Being a Perisher boarder, I'm paronoid about locking. I don't know why Oz has so many thieving lowlifes. Unfortunately they travel. I always lock my board & +1's K9's. You get some strange looks in some places.
