Would be happy to be proved wrong but it looks there is a weak El Nino this year. This means below average snowfalls doesn't it? -

Great photos. They make the backcountry seem so accessible. Speaking as a surfer, to post a description and picture of the route seems like an open invitation. Next time you go up perhaps there'll be more tracks and people than you'd like. -
