Yeh they don't have the other lift on skyline open this year... they are definitely cutting costs with their lift operations. Perhaps they are saving up for a Pipe Dragon?!!!! And some Park shaper dudes?! I don't remember skyline always being that popular, punters usually stay over on the other side of the mountain, but those busy weekends had big lineups. YAY for happo patrol, at least you can rip that mountain, 47 & goryu = sick but stressful. -

HAAA yeh just kinda sucks that it's over and it never really got started. I miss riding powder, but ummm i also missed feeling like it was actually winter this year, you walk outside and it's warm, sunny and no snow on the road.... the LOST SEASON. Plenty more riding, park sessions and spring touring to do, just would have been nice to get some more pow days this year, it just didn't dump like it usually does. I cleared a significant amount of snow off my car about twice this year. Oh well, at least by next winter i might have a clue how to use my new camera I'm excited abo -

they are NOT going to build a baseball ground and training gym along by the matsukawa?!!!!!!! NO WAY?!!! one of my favourite chill out spots in hakuba, arghhhh where's the petition, i want to sign it in very large handwriting. -
yes unfortunately sometimes accidents happen and people fall into holes etc. but actually we skied on top of a river, south facing in the sun, with little snow coverage --- it was like june backcountry skiing, but anyway, we should have never been in that gully. so yes and no kuma. he could have fallen into a hole on a safer exit too.

looks absolutey stunning dizzy!!!!!! looking forward to your pics & stories when you come back! -
they weren't intended as 'nice' photos, just photos of the day.... i told the story, and left the incident for AK to fill in. most of the people directing criticism my way are people i know and see in person on a frequent basis, therefore i'd rather discuss (as it has been anyway) face to face, not with some random people i don't know on the internet, especially not on SJ where there are a minority of people who actually know what they are talking about. i dont think i personally have created an air of humour to the incident... i didnt create the thread naming the line, nor did i post a mugs

SJA - if you could pick it up, that would be AMAZING!!! i wont be in tokyo, and not sure if they'll have it in their range over there. my friend bought me one at b& b in california, but then i lost it on the skateramp. THANK YOUUUUUUU!!! -
yeh no worries thanks samurai.... it's all about experience, good and bad. you make mistakes and you learn. just some people on here think that they live their lives immaculately and talk down to others when they mess up. i know mistakes were made, i knew that at the time, as i skied down there..... i don't need to be told over and over again. there's no point in going over it anymore, why we skied it etc, it's done.... and we did live to ski another day. i learned so much that day. le spud emailed me and told me a story about what happened to him that same weekend, and the mistakes he m

good i'm glad you don't know what to say, because seriously dude we've been over this, i don't need a lecture over the internet thanks.... 6 people were there, not just me. there are dams all over happo. everyone's already said mistakes were made, it's over and you learn from them, AK got hurt but no one died. i'm not talking about this anymore on here.
