  1. Getting good wine can be a bummer. A friend put me onto some guys who import NZ wine. It's more expenny than the stuff in the shops, but it's good. Beer is fine too, but I've found that I can only drink a glass or two now before I get too bloated.
  2. No offense meant. I took big will to mean "big willy" as in larry long prong. grungy-gonads is a excellent name, what we really need is a "toe-jam"
  3. What is more offputting than the image of grungy gonads?
  4. You're telling me BW looks like this How big is big? I'm pretty tubby myself. BW and I may make great drinking buddies. Sitting on a bar stool, ass overhang, and a great case of workmans butt.!! Tasty
  5. HI BRIT-GOB (That's my genki aisatsu) Yep! Seen the avatar. Not to sure what it's about.
  6. Can't really complain as we have Big "He's big ladies" Will and grungy gonads as well.
  7. Being new up here I wasn't sure. I've got a set of new snow tire sitting in the entrance way. I was going to get them put on today, but the guy at the gas station said to wait. Trying to hold on til next Friday as I'm flying out of Matsumoto AP to Fukuoka.
  8. I've notice that a few of the Japanese posters have provocative profile names. Echineko I'm Sexy etc. Just now I've noticed "A very big welcome to our newest member: nicebreast" Am I missing something here?
  9. Oh Sh_t! I thought it was just me (the studly gaijin). Are all you guys getting invites from Kanako and Rena too? Bugger it.
  10. Betty: 259-144 (joined the same month) Time to pull finger girl.
  11. Just went for a walk across the river to 47. Can't see much from the bottom, but snow is nearly to the bottom of the r-1 course. Still snowing.
  12. Congrats me jane. Getting married was the best thing I've done. Hope it's the same for you.
  13. beans: 12 bots should last until Xmas as we have a lot of italian and french wine also. My wife has found a site that send you 6 decent bottles a month for about 5,000yen. Just had 2 glasses of a 2002 C.S.Pask merlot from Hawkes Bay. Excellent wine. O11: 2 bots of Hyuga Kobiki (which I'm not too happy about), and 1 bot of Kuro-Kirishima (which I love). I got given a bottle of Aka-Kirishima (top of the line stuff) when I left Miyazaki, and have been rationing it out. All imo shochu. Now it's getting cold, a nice Oyuwari in the evening before bed goes down very nicely. Mer
  14. Japan for purely selfish reasons. (i.e. We'll make money out of it). Many people are supporting Japan as they think it'll develop the game, but the bosses in Ireland are more in money. Either way Japan should get it.
  15. The festive season starts when you start feeling festive. Me, I've just bought 12 bottle of NZ wine, and been sent 3 bottles of Shochu from the in-laws (god bless them). The festive season is starting once I knock off work tonight.
  16. betty: The ski jump is covered in snow. 47 has snow to almost the bottom. From what I can see of Happo it's near the bottom there to. Still snowing now.
  17. I'm pretty sure that the sheer dickheadedness of my ancestors made me the dickhead I am today. Don't know much about ID (had to google it in fact), but at a quick glance it looks like a side step from religous types to explain away all inconsistencies in their doctrine.
  18. farquah: Use to coach at a private high school (Nissho) in Miyazaki. Hardly set the world on fire, but had a lot of fun. Difficult to get 15 players together, but we combined with nearby Nichidai to field a team for freindlies against the other schools. I played for 15 years for Miyazaki RFC. Played through until Kyushu tourney last year, but getting to old and fat now. Young mans game me thinks. My two elder kids started playing in Miyazaki, but there is nothing up here in Hakuba. Would love to start something here in the summer months though. Betty: Glad things are on the
  19. Little bit of the white stuff in the bessochi here in Hakuba today.
  20. Said the Blue fish to the Mackerel. Ahhh! too much time on my hands!!
  21. soubriquet: That's what I thought too.(Didn't think too much about the gelatin though). Kumamoto is famous for it's horsemeat. Served raw, dipped in shoyu (or Pons). Great eating.
  22. Ouch!! The job from hell, and lots of end of year parties thrown in. Now's time to start thinking of offical excuses for getting out of work. Visa issues can be good. Aunt Bertha back home may have developed a fatal case of hemmoroids, and you may get a few days there. Can you arrange to be in the northen most school on Fridays? You could head up to Hakuba from there. Are you going for the Happo-One pass this year?
  23. Gams: He means that Mackerel are the best fish of all and all other fish are beneath him. It's all a bit strange however, as one of the fish a little way up the food chain from the Mackerel is none other than the blue fish.
  24. Betty, Try and work something you are interested in into your job. Just teaching is really draining. If you have an interest, see if you can teach that too. I ended up teaching as many computer classes as it did english ones, and also ran the school rugby team. Sports are good as they offer a good excuse to get outside for the last hour of everyday. You develop a better relationship with the students also.
