I was reading this thread before and thought I'd bring it back to life! I'm looking to buy a new digicam as my old one has conked out on me and wondering what to get. Has anyone bought one recently or got any recommendations

I'm in northern Tokyo - almost in Saitama.

My parents first took me skiing when I was 15 and then I didn't go for a few years, started again 2 seasons ago and really into it and looking forward to checking out what Japan has to offer.
