Yamakashi, I hope you are joking about snowboarder being banned.. That would really suck. I don't mind if there are foreigners, but not to much, going there to experience the culture and people as well. So if there are foreigners running the place, sort of kill the purpose you know. the only resorts I been to so far is ones in Oregon and Whistler. haven't snowboard oversea yet, so I thought it'll be fun to try it out in Japan. I'll look into Zao and Tomamu, tks for everyone's advice. Good thing my trip isn't till next year, got more time to replan.

hey Fattwins No.. not going for night skiin'. Heard they have the best dry powder in Hokkaido, but after reading bout all the Aussie there, thinking bout switching mountain. Prefer a mountain where the native hang out or something.

hi Montoya, I worked one mile from Nike, at Columbia Sportswear. Wouldn't mind working at the Columbia Japan office, too bad they only need apparel designers and not graphic designers.

most of my friends hate their job. I am like the only one that actually like and enjoys my job. I work at a large apparel company, I am a graphic designer, so I am usually working on something new all the time. maybe thats why I don't hate my job.

I haven't had it done yet, only 2.75 at the moment. I know several people that got it done, they all have worster night vision, halo when driving at night. Daytime vision pretty great, so overall not too bad. But wouldn't recommend it till your vision is worst then 5.o or higher.

Hi All Newbie here, some friends and I are planning a trip to Hokkaido in end of Feb 2006 - early march 2006. I only read good stuff bout Niseko, so thinking about that resort. Do any member have any suggestion for other resort in Hokkaido? Prefer a resort/ mountain with more native then foreigners. Not too expensive if possible. Any suggestion welcome! Tks in advance.
