From my experience, I would have to say that Blackcomb caters to boarders and Whistler more to skiiers. But of course, everyone has their own preferences..........I guess if you are looking for hits and a good board park, Blackcomb is where its at.........

So who is organizing this trip to Nagano and Hokkaido? AJET? I heard last years trip was pretty pimp so I'm looking forward to going this year. Gonna ride every weekend after Jan 6th. If you guys wanna hook up to ride together, that'd be sweet..........I'll be riding with my broken sternum........still hasn't healed......but must ride.........I know you guys feel me on this one.

Having only ridden 2 different mountains in Nagano (and yet to have hit Hakuba) just curious which mountain has the best board park? If anyone could give me some advice, it would be much appreciated.

Yeah, rain on the west coast sucks................but the riding is incredible.

I hope that made sense.............(read it in Runners World) running at a moderate pace for 20 minutes will burn a higher RATE of calories than running at a fast pace for 20 min. But, you will of course burn more running at a faster pace over the same time interval.

Are you from Vancouver? I've ridden Whislter/Blackcomb since I was pretty young and can honestly say that it has got to be one of the best. Have never noticed any humidity on the west coast ever............although it does rain quite a bit, I have only ridden a few times up in Whistler when it was unbearable. Maybe you caught a bad patch of weather???? Where are you guys from? Van?

I'm a current ALT on the JET PROGRAMME in my third and final year. I must say, I have enjoyed every minute of it. Were you one of the first ALTS??? Where did you work? I heard that the only thing that has really changed is that there are more limits on what we can't do. IE. Leave work if you have no classes.
