  1. This goes out to all of you who have suffered from a concussion (3rd degree) on the mountain. My season was cut short last year by a third degree concussion (passed out for 10 seconds, loss of memory, bruised ribs, etc). My questions that I put out to you guys: 1.) How was it the first time you got back out on the mountain following your concussion? 2.) Did you go all out? 3.) Was it easy to overcome the fear of reinjury? 4.) I heard that once you have suffered a serious concussion, it becomes much easier for you to suffer another. Do you think my helemet will make

  9. Sweet, how long does it take to drive there from Hamamatsu?
  10. Don't know the science behind it all, but from experience: - If you step into a higher heart rate level, you may find that will lose more weight. - Increasing the amount of time that you are running for is a key factor. - less intake of calories and more expenditure of energy burning the ones you took in Hope this helps.
  11. Thanks for the props. Practice off a diving board into a pool or on the mountain into an area with tons of powder. I think its easier if you learn back handsprings first then as you increase your lift/power/rotation, you should be able to get all the way around.
  12. Unfortunately, only at a few small mountains in Southern Nagano. Looking to go further north this year. What about you?
  13. thanks for the info guys. Much appreciated. Iida is in southern Nagano about 2.5 hours from Nagoya on the expressway.
  14. Manning, man I remember going there for my Elementary School Graduation trip............was pretty nice! If I go local, I usually go to Cypress, the guys at Seymour are a little too hardcore for me. But, most of the time I just drive up to Blackcomb. I went to UBC and graduated in 2001. I'm on my 3rd and final year in Japan. You??? Jet? Nova?
