Still, I think I'll just use my first name, it is after all my 'stage' name. My whole name is way too long to fit on a hanko, even my first name is too long! I have the parking spot sorted, though I may have to re-register at another ward office that's close to the spot, which is an hour plus trip away, so I think it's probably safer to get a hanko for 'just in case'. I've heard I can (and even 'should') do it in romaji, and I've seen a friend's company hanko with just her first name in romaji, which I'd probably do, though I also heard it does seem to be a case by case thing with the type of hanko they'll accept too (as in what type of script/kana it's in....). Shimbashi is just a stop or two from Tokyo station, so it's easy to swing by on your way thru. If you don't know where your going it might be easier to hop onto the yurikamome monorail at shimbashi (one stop) cos the exit is kinda connected to the building.
