"mistermojo" has been deleted from the forums as it seems he/she was using somebody elses details to register. It would be a real shame if we had to make registration more difficult, and to be generally stricter with the forums. Due to them having more snow than they anticipated, Kagura in Yuzawa (Niigata) have announced that they are going to open up the top Main Gelende (all 600m of it!) on the following dates: May 24th (Sat), 25th (Sun) May 31st (Sat) June 1st (Sun) Mitsumata Ropeway will be open from 8am-5pm. Tickets are - adults 3000 yen & children 2000 yen. Apparently there is currently still 120cm of snow up there.

Just taking at look at some numbers too these last few days. Look out for some articles on SnowJapan over the summer months on statistics for the season from a few popular snow regions.....

badmigraine To answer your first question, apart from searching on a member name and using the links that come up as the search result there aren't any easy ways to collect all the posts of any member. As for the question about the most characters - no, we can't know about that either. Total number of posts for each member etc yes, but not characters.

Yes, it was Yuzawa and the hotel was "Takahan" - it's still there, just round the corner from the GALA Yuzawa shinkansen station.

Alas, no prizes available for that! The (nearly!) 20,000 on the main Snow Talk forum is not the total number from the beginning of the site, but pretty much from the beginning of last season until now.
