  1. i liked seattle for the short amount of time i was there. im not a huge city person. halifax, canada is quite nice.
  2. i have this friend who knows a guy that works in a snowboard shop in korea, and hes going to try and hook me up with some gear. what im wondering is, is stuff cheaper in korea or am i better off just buying it in japan?
  3. its meant to hit a mighty 38 degrees in tokyo over the weekend. thats really uncomfortable and i like sleeping in my 18 degree room at night.
  4. i find coldplay boring if not tedious... the strokes rock though.
  5. i bought my dell inspiron 2600 online. its a celeron 1.3mhz and has 8X dvd/cd-rw combo drive. it was about 2100 dollars including tax and shipping [canadian dollars that is, 145,000 yen] and was a really good deal. the great thing about dell is you can pick and choose what u want and what u dont want. i would happily recommend it to anyone in the market for a reasonably priced laptop. oh and it has a 14.1 inch screen.
  6. ive only been here a week. but i got here the day after fuji rock, and im leaving the same day as summer sonic.
  7. i dislocated my hip...that was painful. and sometimes if i stand up to quickly my hip goes all funny and i get the extreme stabbing pain on my left side. and ive broken my nose...and that was painful. but doesnt bother me anymore. oh and i fractured a bone in my knee. accident prone? NEVER!

  11. i went to nepal in 2000 and it was amazing. we went trekking in the annapurna foothills. i would definatley recommend it. ive lived in singapore previously, so know s.e.a pretty well. i prefer thailand over malaysia. just as its more exciting. be sure to get up to chiang mai/rai in the north. ive also been in vietnam, which was a great experience. how about myanmar/laos/cambodia?
