Sharon in Hiroshima - i agreed to an extend with what your saying but not all of it. When your talking about beginner slopes I don't think it matters if it is beginner snowboarders or skiers, people who cant hold an edge are going to push the snow rather than carve through hence big moguls. To try to pin it on skiers is both ignorant and clearly you are out to start a fight. If thats what youre after then Ill see you in Kembys anytime - Talisker in Hiroshima -

It is actually a trio not a duo, i think, and rumour has it that the man himself will be offering free hair cuts. -

A man goes into an optometrist with a violin case. He opens it to reveal a turd about a foot long and a couple of inches in diameter. The optometrist says " you don't need an optometrist - you need a doctor1" The man says, " I need an optometrist because everytime I do one it makes my eyes water!" wrong kind of dumps?

Snowboarders ruin the snow

I have to say that this is quite interesting. I think that the problem is not enough people are drinking vast quantities before going skiing/boarding. If you are hungover, you tend to sit at the top of the hill and concentrate on not vomiting. Clearly this means you are not going down the hill and making moguls be it on a board or skis. It isn't difficult to appreciate the merits of this system. I wonder if it will catch on? -
Groller - i shudder to think what kind of life you are living. You must have a good stiff scotch soon. If not scotch - a good stiff something!

poll: what kind of rider are you?
talisker replied to ollie's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
I m a drunken rider - often seen at Hana 3, grasping a bottle of single malt, asking people as they pass, " any spare change for a ski bum?" -
Just wanted to know do you finish a hard days riding with a 16 year old Talisker or fake Japanese beer?
