  1. Also I think you will really enjoy reading "staying alive in avalanche terrain" You can buy it online pretty cheap.
  2. Glad to hear you are ok mate. Put a proper high db whistle on the zipper of your jacket so its right there when you need it.
  3. How about some hi res pics? You could hit edge material with a cold chisel on the bench and it wouldnt crack, cracking it within the laminate of a snowboard is 99.99999% imposible IMO and like blackmountain said the collateral damage would be enormous. If its not a join it may be a scratch.
  4. I am 7 years into running my business and totally agree with this comment
  5. Not jealousy. I hate them because they take a pack of noobs down the best parts of the mountain and then its wrecked till next snow. Local knowledge used to be earned, now it is bought. End rant lol.
  6. Being a native english speaker can be a big help if you are looking at an english speaking customer base, ie tourists. There are some gaijin ski guiding businesses that are doing very well for example, as much as I hate them lol. You could also buy a pension or something like that? The mountains are the perfect office, if you can live that lifestyle and make enough money to eat and enjoy the snow then you are one of the richest people on earth IMO
  7. Togari is low altitude and cops the sun all day but the best curry restaurant in japan is straight across the road
  8. Is it near the tip/tail or inside a swallowtail? Its probably a join not a crack.
  9. My quiver now ranges from 180 to 153 lol. Variety is good :-) All the boards I built sucked due to the long radius sidecuts and wide waste widths. I learned a lot from it though. Send me an email when you get a chance seemore.
