  1. Any of the Clint Eastwood "spaghetti westerns" - A Fistful Of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More or The Good, The Bad & The Ugly. Classics!
  2. It's definitely soju, otherwise known as foul-tasting, loopy juice (I used to live in Korea), though it goes down a lot better mixed with beer and if you really want to impress the locals, beer and coke!
  3. The only person with a squarer-head-than-DC is Kryten from the Red Dwarf!! But then I guess he wasn't a person
  4. but surely you can never have too much of 007
  5. Sorry to hear about the knee Ippy! Hopefully you can ride it back into shape soon Was thinking about a Tomamu trip myself but don't think I'll make it back in time for work! & having said what I said yesterday, I enjoyed Furano today! Amazing what a bit of fresh snow can do!
  6. I took my trusty camembert to Kamui Ski Links today:- All roads lead to cheese! Lunch at the 751 Cafe Cheese 'n' trees!

Don't get me wrong, I love Furano (it's my second season here) but I left Kamui with a much bigger smile on my face. Maybe it was the foot of fresh powder or the acres of off-piste and tree runs that you're able to ride without fear of losing your pass to Ski Patrol, but if I was only in this part of the world for a few days, I know which place I'd
  8. I'm planning to do a mid-March road trip back to Kanto from Furano, taking in various resorts on the way, so could meet up with you guys there!

Nice review Ippy and welcome to Furano
  10. Partly sunny/cloudy here in Furano with a light dusting of snow. Also looks bloody cold again so am going to avoid the Saturday crowds and stay in bed
  11. Probably my Ski Patrol "friend" from yesterday who will then take my pass for causing a disturbance By the way, a terrain park is being built on the Kitanomine side! I saw a box, a couple of a rails and a tabletop this morning but it's not finished/open yet - maybe this weekend PS I'll look out for you Kokodoko

I got shouted at a couple of times last season but today was the nearest I've come to losing my pass! Let's hope they were just having a clampdown day or perhaps they've got less to do in the absence of fresh snow Kokodoko, I'll look out for you on the slopes - what colours are you wearing?
