  1. haha GG, or just buy the tickets for my son and have someone to wash my car for the next 10 years!!
  2. thanks ippy - interesting. his main rival has been catching him rapidly and is now only about 25 votes behind with 5 days to go. I'll pass this vote exchange info on to my son and suggests he considers exploiting this
  3. and I might have voted for the "booty" also, except it was a still and not a movie! LOL if you like "booties" watch this one!!:
  4. I agree whole-heartedly that FB is a waste of a lot of space and time, but it does have a few benefits - its up to you how little or lost you get involved with it. I find the concept of "liking" something quite stupid in many cases. in this instance I'm merely trying to help my son in something he is doing. (something a parent might actually do from time to time). It costs me nor him nothing but a few moments in time
  5. BUMP!! The opposition are catching him rapidly. I've had a chat to the CIA who have agreed not to use your 'likes' to monitor you, so if you have a spare moment, please "like" Haydn's clip Thanks!!!
  6. i had used shipito previously, when buying stuff from backcountry that they couldnt ship to Oz. Eventually got an email from backcountry saying they werent allowed to send it to shipito because of their freight forwarding. thats when I started using HSG and so far no hiccups
  7. and "liked" that too! his closest is currently around 100. seems that lots of facebook friends can provide some benefit!
  8. for those with Facebook can I ask a favour please. 1/ Click on the following link: https://www.facebook.com/#!/events/176865462416563/ 2/ scroll down until you find "Haydn Owens" (my son) he has posted a song: SKRILLEX - BANGARANG (FT. SIRAH) please "like" this song. If he gets the most likes, he wins 2 tickets to the Malibu event. Cheers!
  9. ahh, so any country in the world that has seat belts laws is a nanny state? I am more than happy for the idiots out there to kill themselves off. the problem is that the idiots tend to kill more than themselves and this is what the laws are for.
  10. When it comes to Fireworks in Oz, I don't think its a Nanny State mentality, I believe its managing a very high risk when you could be combining alcohol, fireworks and a very dry bush, the possible outcome could be horrendous. Here's a youtube of a market in Mexico where there are 300 stalls selling fireworks to the public http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dgbe9Nx-fGU
  11. I hate the nanny state mentality, but unfortunately the 10% can do a lot of damage to the remaining 90%
  12. have total media blackout until you've watched your recording, and pretend its live
  13. how easy/difficult would it be for the boy to have kicked his skis off before dropping? (assuming he was still in the right mindset)
  14. based on Liverpool's recent history? i'm clutching at some straws here!
  15. 5 and 9 points clear of 3rd placed team in Premier League. Hmmm, nah don't think so. haha, different competitions! when my kid comes home from school with a crappy science test result, and says, but I'm doing ok in maths....
  16. wow, Pool knocked Man C out of the CC 4 days ago, and Man U out of the FA cup today Manchester can't be a happy place right now!
  17. Maybe if we get Northern Hemi Jollys in different places we can do a house swap every once in a while to mix it up?! nahhhh, my house is going to be SOOOOOO much nicer than yours!! LOL
  18. MB, you and I think alike - I'm hoping for one 3 places - home in Perth, a winter jolly in Thredbo, and a northern hemisphere jolly - hopefully willspend around 4-6 months a year in snow!
  19. when I was in Hakuba a few years back, I purchased a large poster very similar to this, about 1000 x 600mm which was vinyl wrapped. I got it from a the local tourism shop(?) in the train station/bus stop
