Hey, I'm working in Mishima....we should hook up for some after work wild times up at Yeti...lol. We are driving to Owarai(Ibaraki) and catching the overnight ferry to Tomakomai. It's the only way to go as far as I'm concerned. Driving the Tohoku to Aomori is a brutal (boring) drive. The ferry is 19 hours. Leaves in the early evening and gets in at around noon. We've done it a few times now and we used to take the ferry to Hokkaido all the time when I was living up in Sendai. Cheers, Chris

I'm driving up to Hokkaido next week so I hope the dumpage continues...can't wait. It would be nice if Furano got a good dump, too.

Nothing major I don't think. A few broken water lines, superficial cracking and personally some sloshed water out of my 2 fish tanks.

Yep, Ito was a rockin and rollin all night. Didn't get much sleep at all.

We usually get to Hakuba every other weekend but after last year we've decided to start the season off in Hokkaido this coming winter vacation. My wife's from northern Hokkaido and I lived up there for 3 years way back when so it'll be nice to go back for a few weeks and hit Furano, Kamui, Pipu, Niseko and maybe Kiroro. We have friends trying to make a go of it (business) in Hakuba so I hope for everyone's sake they get a better season.
