Tangram Ski Circus is located on the northern slopes of Mt Madarao.


The winding Prefecture Road 97 runs past both the Tangram Ski Circus and the connecting Madarao Mountain Resort. That road (along with Prefecture Road 96 on the Myoko side) connects Iiyama City with Myoko City. It is open throughout the winter months.


Approaching from the Joshinetsu ExpresswayIf approaching from the south the nearest exit on the Joshinetsu Expressway is the Shinano-machi IC.If approaching from the north, exit the expressway at the Myoko Kogen IC.From both head up to Madarao using Prefecture Road 96 and then Prefecture Road 97.


Approaching from central Iiyama and Route 117If arriving from the east using Route 117, there are a number of Madarao Kogen signposts near the central area of Iiyama City. Madarao Kogen resort is about 11.5km from Route 117 and the base of Tangram Ski Circus is a further 5.5km along the same road.


Parking is available at the base of Tangram Ski Circus.
