After the cold and snow (and wind in places) that everyone was surprised and talking about... there are blue skies this morning with just a little cloud around in places.

It really does feel like winter again at the moment. There's fresh snow on the roads and there is snow hanging on the trees. It's cold too.

It was cold yesterday and is again this morning.

Yesterday was a real surprise - especially as snow was falling pretty much through the day, so there will have been more cm added on the slopes.

This morning Maiko Snow Resort are reporting 10-20cm of fresh snow on their slopes. Kagura are reporting 15cm.

Light snow continued after my report was posted but it didn't really result in much more on the ground (the 1cm in the report today is from yesterday morning).

It was colder yesterday and bits of rain at times during the day.

It feels very different this morning after that mini-blast of winter yesterday.

Very happy news to report this morning - for the first time in quite a while, there's fresh snow on the ground!

Not been able to report any new cm for a while now...

A dry spell.

Yesterday light snow continued for most of the morning with some sunshine in the afternoon and then a return to snow later on, so some mixed conditions.

Light snow through the day yesterday and there wasn't so much in terms of cm on the ground but this morning we just cleared away 17cm which was good to see.

Just after I posted the report yesterday, it got rather cloudy.
