Light snow through the day yesterday and there wasn't so much in terms of cm on the ground but this morning we just cleared away 17cm which was good to see. It is still snowing now and light snow is forecast for the day, with a chance it might stop sometime before late afternoon.
Kagura are reporting about 25cm and Maiko Snow Resort are reporting 15-20cm of fresh snowfall. (Just to explain once again; the reason why we mention the fresh snowfall being reported by those two ski resorts is simply because they put those numbers out in a morning. And good on them, I say. If other ski resorts put those numbers out into the world, we'd mention them too!)
Sunshine is currently forecast for tomorrow and as we approach mid week some warmer conditions are likely. Temps may even get into double digits around Tuesday and Wednesday which won't be great for the snow. Let's hope it's a blip and we can get back to winter by the end of February... keep an eye on that.
