Good morning from Yuzawa.
Not been able to report any new cm for a while now...
Yesterday there was a bit of snowfall up in higher areas in the morning and Kagura this morning are reporting 1cm of fresh snow. Down in town areas it was up to around 6C in the afternoon and mostly just cloudy. There were a few spots of rain at times, but happily not much at all.
This morning it is mostly cloudy, quite bright with some blue sky.
Overnight tonight there is a chance of some light snow / light rain, it doesn't look like it will be particularly cold so it might be borderline.
Tomorrow we should get to see some sunshine in the daytime. Temperatures around 5-6C during the day both today and tomorrow.

The Echigo Yuzawa Onsen Yuki Matsuri (Snow Festival) will be held in the central area of town on Saturday (2nd March). There will be things going on between the West Exit of Echigo Yuzawa Station and Yuzawa Kogen Ropeway, with events being held from 6pm until 9pm on the Nunoba area of Yuzawa Kogen resort (close to the Ropeway base station). Hopefully the weather will be good for the event.
