New snowfall at base 19cm

It was colder yesterday and bits of rain at times during the day.
But the excellent news this morning is the 20cm or so fresh snow on the ground around town areas. Brilliant. We have measured 17cm, 19cm and 22cm in different places - 19cm at the usual point.
Kagura resort are reporting 30cm of fresh snow.
And what's more, the sun is out just to the north of Yuzawa - it may well end up being just a short period of sunshine and might not stretch down to Yuzawa, but there is a chance we will enjoy a sunny day. Or maybe not! Sun or not, there's a decent layer of fresh snow to enjoy this morning.
Apparently the top Number 5 lift at Kagura will be closed today due to windy conditions up there. It does feel a bit windy out there actually so might need to keep an eye on that - I cannot find any info of other lifts being closed just at the moment.
Sun is forecast for tomorrow along with mild temperatures again.
