Measuring 18cm of fresh snowfall since the report yesterday and this is what ski areas are reporting this morning

OK so we did get some rain yesterday, quite heavy at times too.

Another 5cm of snow overnight after 9cm during the day, so 14cm to add to the report. Ski areas are reporting 10-15cm.

There might well have been snow falling in central Tokyo yesterday during the day, but it was bright and sunny here at the same time.

No snow being reported by ski areas this morning, though I definitely moved 10cm off the measuring spot yesterday evening!

There was some heavy snow falling at times during the day yesterday and 22cm of snowfall measured by 6pm.

Sure I heard some rain very early morning, but looking out the window now it is actually snowing.

Beautiful morning (in particular) yesterday, with clouds gradually starting to gather as the day went on.
