Independent snow and weather reporting from the Yuzawa & Minamiuonuma region of Niigata

New snowfall at base 10cm
Snowfall at base this seas 460cm

Posted on Thursday 6th January 2022 This is an archived report. The latest Yuzawa Now report can be found here.

No snow being reported by ski areas this morning, though I definitely moved 10cm off the measuring spot yesterday evening! The snow eased off during the day yesterday.

This morning there's a lot of cloud around but it's bright and we will probably get clearer skies and sun. It's cold too for now.

Back to some fresh snow falling from the skies tomorrow.
