Loads of snow!

More fine weather here in Shiga Kogen this Sunday morning.

It almost feels like mid winter!

After that lovely start to the day yesterday, here was are this morning with a much more winter-like picture.

It was strong winds and snow storm time overnight but this morning we're just waking up to just a thin layer of new snow.

It's going to be a fantastic morning. A cold start. Blue skies. The sun is out.

Back to snow this morning and it's coming down heavily right now.

It's another calm-after-the-storm kind of morning.

It's the calm after the storm this morning here in Shiga Kogen.

It's difficult to put a number on things this morning but my best attempt measuring in a few places is.... 45cm of fresh snowfall.

Fine weather since yesterday afternoon here in Shiga Kogen and this morning starts with clear skies and sunshine.

Good morning from Shiga Kogen and I'm happy to report just over 8cm of snow round the back of my place.

After the relatively fine weather over the last few days, light snow has started to fall here this morning.

This morning as I write this it's an interesting mix of light snowfall and sunshine.
