Very early this morning it was clearer skies but right now snow is falling and there's just about 1cm on the ground so far.

Light snow falling this morning here in Shiga Kogen. Again, it's wetter snow than we might hope for at the beginning of February, but we'll take it.

Yesterday was a relatively 'warm' one (for Shiga Kogen) with lots of fog around at times.

Just to keep the 'odd season' theme going, yesterday we got some... rain/sleet... falling here in Shiga Kogen. Oh dear.

Yesterday was a very fine day with blue skies to enjoy and nice cold conditions.

Heavy snow!

Some sunshine early this morning and thin cloud in Shiga Kogen and just a dusting of snow to be seen in places.

Yesterday saw the heaviest snow storm of the season so far, it was really coming down and blowing around lunchtime.

It's stormy again here in Shiga Kogen with more snow once again.

There's some sunshine this morning but it should only be a temporary break from the snow as we have heavy snowfall forecast and expected tonight and through tomorrow.

Mixed weather yesterday with a bit of snow but clearing up in the afternoon.

Snow was falling overnight but it had cleared up by early morning and there was quite a bit of blue sky amongst the clouds.
