After that lovely start to the day yesterday, here was are this morning with a much more winter-like picture. Good and cold and snow is falling.

A perhaps somewhat disappointing 5cm of snowfall compared with some other nearby areas this morning, but it is snowing now though less than a bit earlier and it looks like there's a good chance of it easing off this morning.

The forecast for the coming 6 days is looking pretty decent with regular snow. The heaviest snow looks likely to be around Friday and then later on Sunday into Monday.
