Fine weather since yesterday afternoon here in Shiga Kogen and this morning starts with clear skies and sunshine.
Still since my report yesterday there was new snow falling and so that's the 'new snowfall' that appears in the report this morning.
Today will probably be fine for the whole of the day but we'll be back to snowfall tomorrow. Tomorrow night is supposed to be the peak of this particular delivery of snow, so let's hope there's a lot.
You may have noticed on the forecast talk of rain on Saturday. It does look like large parts of the region at least are going to be experiencing unseasonably warm conditions. We really do want to avoid that (obviously) so all offerings to the snow gods should be submitted now!
