Just a light dusting of snow early this morning but the clouds have been clearing up and currently the sun is shining down on us.

After that good start to the day yesterday, we were into snowfall and windy weather conditions again by the afternoon.

Brrrrr. It's a very cold morning here in Shiga Kogen. A beautiful one too.

Lots of fresh snow to report this morning.

After the stormy conditions, we are back to calm and sunny this morning.

It's a cold morning. From here in Maruike I can see right over to the top of Higashidateyama, so visibility is good.

A good new layer of fresh snow this morning as it continues to fall here in the Maruike area of Shiga Kogen.

A nice 8cm of fresh snow on the ground to report too.

When I got up it was snowing lightly but as I'm typing this, it is actually coming down rather quickly.

It's a good one with a haul of around 14cm of fresh snowfall I am measuring on the ground since last night.

As I write my report this morning from here in Hasuike, it's bright with good visibility over to Higashidateyama.

Some fresh snow to enjoy yesterday - I'm hearing up to nearly 10cm on the slopes in places.

It's December and things should start getting going more and more now as the weeks pass.
