Good morning from Shiga Kogen.
It's a cold morning. From here in Maruike I can see right over to the top of Higashidateyama, so visibility is good. There's not much of a wind and it is snowing lightly at the moment. 4cm of fresh on the roads.
Perhaps some more snow today and then looks like a bit of a break from snow tomorrow and Friday --- and back to snow by Sunday.
I'd expect more to be opening up this weekend though don't have any specific news to report at the moment.
Currently the following areas of Shiga Kogen are part open:

- Takamagahara Mammoth
- Yakebitaiyama
- Okushiga Kogen
- Kumanoyu
- Yokoteyama
None of the above resorts are 'linked up'/connected.
