Morning from Shiga Kogen.

It's December and things should start getting going more and more now as the weeks pass.

This morning sees the Yokoteyama, Ichinose Family and Takamagahara Mammoth resort areas opening - properly... and partly. It's all a bit limited still of course. In this early part of the season when only part areas are open, I will try to keep the below list up to date with what is open in each area.

This morning there was a lot of cloud earlier on, but at 9:30am it's lovely and sunny with more and more blue sky. The forecast has some snow lined up for tonight with more sunshine due over the weekend.

All snowfall data presented on this page is the snowfall measured and observed at base/town level by our reporter based in Shiga Kogen. The 'new snowfall' number represents the amount of snow measured since the previous report. All opinions are those of the individual reporters. Information regarding ski area operations is manually checked every morning and is believed to be correct at the time of the report.
