Good morning from Shiga Kogen.
After the stormy conditions, we are back to calm and sunny this morning.
A lovely morning, but very cold.
Expect more lifts and courses to be open from tomorrow, a sunny start and then snow later in the day and on Sunday. If the forecast is right, of course.
Currently the following areas of Shiga Kogen are part open:
- Ichinose Family
- Takamagahara Mammoth
- Yakebitaiyama
- Okushiga Kogen
- Kumanoyu
- Yokoteyama
None of the above resorts are 'linked up'/connected.
Other resorts will be opening as soon as they can now - I expect more tomorrow.
I've said it before but Shiga Kogen really don't make it easy to find out exactly what is open - you have to rummage around to find all of the different bits of information. They could do with a 'headline news' kind of thing every day to make things clear.
