Brrrrr. It's a very cold morning here in Shiga Kogen.
A beautiful one too.
The sun is out.
Blue skies.
Stunning!
And fresh snow. And very cold.
Really have no idea about the "5cm" of fresh snowfall the official site is reporting.... I am measuring 34cm and I see Okushiga Kogen are reporting 50-60cm. Wind was definitely blowing snow around and there are also of course natural differences in such a wider area, but still!
Maybe more snow tomorrow but there seems to be more sun than snow on the forecast from Wednesday into the weekend.
I notice Ichinose Yamanokami now appears to be open as well as Shibutoge.
Hopefully we might get to 'all open' at least 'mostly open' from this coming weekend.
