Can't see much out there, poor visibility. I can see that it is snowing, though, and coming down hard at times too.

It's really cold this morning!

It's snowing like it means it right now! Here in the central area of Shiga Kogen anyway.

There's a quite strong southerly wind blowing this morning. Further snowfall is due beyond that later today and through tomorrow.

Moderate snowfall at the moment (nice big flakes too) and generally poor visibility with cold conditions. This should continue through the day.

Yesterday was a wild at times. Very cold night too. This morning it is calm.

Not that much snow yesterday and it was definitely on the wet side with the relatively mild temps. I'm not an expert, but I believe that is actually a good thing for the base of snow.

Well, after that impressive start yesterday morning we didn't get a whole lot more during the day.

It's snowing nicely at the moment. The kind of snow that sticks and, all being well, adds up the cm fairly quickly.

Another dusting of snow on the ground around my place this morning. Looks like there is a chance of more by tomorrow too and then at the weekend.

It's quite bright this morning. Cold enough for machines to be pumping out snow in places as supplement the very limited natural snowfall.
