It's a fine morning here in Shiga Kogen.
Blue skies and sunshine. Quite cold to start off with but it will probably get somewhat milder feeling later on. Fine weather due tomorrow too, followed by snow on Sunday.
From this morning, the Yakebitaiyama and Ichinose Family ski areas are part open, joining Yokoteyama and Kumanoyu.
At Yakebitaiyama, the Number 4 romance pair lift is operating with the South Course open (973m).
At Ichinose Family the Number 2 pair lift is operating with 400m of course open.
There might be more tomorrow (I am hearing rumours that Mammoth might be trying to open).
My report might be later tomorrow as I made some adjustments and try and collect as much information as possible.
