This is my last Shiga Kogen Now report for the season.

The rain earlier in the week soon cleared and we have enjoyed some fine and clear conditions the last few days.

As yesterday, fine weather conditions this morning in Shiga Kogen though it's more hazy than clear blue skies.

We got rained on yesterday, but... it turned into snow for a while and there's just a thin layer to show for it and snow on the roads.

It's going to be a top notch day here, with some second glances at the date on the calendar.

It feels like winter again! Not a huge amount but snow has arrived back.

Wet stuff falling from the skies later in the day yesterday, ending up in the form of snow.

Cold overnight, felt very wintery!

Yesterday, it rained. Not nice and obviously not good for the snow out there on the slopes.

After that stormy day yesterday and perhaps around 20cm of fresh snow.

After the blue skies we enjoyed yesterday, it's back to mid-winter today.

Clearer earlier on this morning with a bit of sun, but now we have mostly cloud over the Shiga Kogen region.

Snow yesterday and overnight and this morning... sun?! Can't say we were expecting this but the sun is out right now.
