Yes, the snow has continued and we have another decent amount since yesterday.

Snow snow snow! Tons of it.

The official snowfall numbers from the resort are a bit all over the place since yesterday - with around 10-30cm reported by the afternoon and another 10-15cm this morning, leaving us with the numbers shown below.

It is a very good morning here in Nozawa.

Happy Christmas! I spotted Santa on some skis yesterday talking with our favourite skiing vegetable Nozawa mascot, Nasuki. Good to see them getting along.

I'm going to try and avoid the feeling that I woke up very early morning to hear rain, but am happier to be able to report at least some fresh snow this morning.

Some sun was shining through yesterday but overnight the snow clouds have come back and delivered us with around 10cm of fresh snow.

Good morning from Nozawa. And it is looking like it will be a cracker.

I have very Nozawa-like snowfall to report to you this morning.

Nearly 20cm of snow on the ground and 14-21cm being reported by the resort itself and snow is falling as I write this.

The good news is that Nozawa seem to be reporting 15cm of fresh up on the top Yamabiko and Uenotaira areas so something of a refresh to be expected up there.

A bit more snow since yesterday and it is easing off this morning with generally cloudy conditions forecast for the day - more snow is due during this week.
