New snowfall at base 18cm
Snowfall at base this season 44cm

Posted on Friday 14th December 2018 This is an archived report. The latest Nozawa Now report can be found here.

Good morning from Nozawa. This is a bit more like it. :)

Nearly 20cm of snow on the ground and 14-21cm being reported by the resort itself and snow is falling as I write this. It looks like visibility is limited on the mountain as well, as you might expect. Snowfall is due for today perhaps less so over the weekend but coming back early week.

This morning the Hikage Gondola and Yu road are also opening up, though you still need to get the Gondola down at the end of the day as lower slopes are not open.

Cheaper lift tickets until today!
