Snowfall at base this season 148cm

Good morning from a snowy Nozawa.
The official snowfall numbers from the resort are a bit all over the place since yesterday - with around 10-30cm reported by the afternoon and another 10-15cm this morning, leaving us with the numbers shown below.
Since my report yesterday I have measured a further 26cm.
Whatever - we have had continued snowfall and there's a really decent amount of it out there; and certainly a lot of it on the upper slopes.
More runs are open now - including Skyline - but the day is starting with the Nagasaka Gondola halted due to some kind of mechanical issue. The resort is recommending folk to take the other Gondola if you want to get up top. Hopefully they will get that sorted quickly.
There's lots of snow still left on the forecast... get used to it! :)
Take care and enjoy.
